Yung Belial combines the future with his music, placing himself in a completely new scene in Italy. An alchemy between the aggressiveness of the metal genre, the typical rhythms of Trap and the depth of the text, inspired by artists like Salmo, Noyz Narcos, Trent Reznor, Marilyn Masnon, Xxxtentacion and Suicideboys.
Artist is creativity and passion. He is the one who can find the keys to transmit what happens in his head to the public, transporting it to other worlds and at the same time making it aware of the contemporary world. You are about to bring a completely new genre to Italy: a fusion between metal aggression and Trap. Through what process did you manage to find yourself in such a "distant" genre?
Music is the sound transposition of the artist's mind. I had to combine the feeling and aggression present both in the kind of music I've always loved, metal and in myself. I wasn't going to produce a song where you only deal with issues related to money, clothes, and crime wanting to convey something deeper to the public through music. As far as the lyrics are concerned, I was inspired not only by singers outside the trap sphere, but also by the rappers I've always loved, including Salmo and Noyz Narcos. On a sound level, I tend to create a dark atmosphere, something mysterious that is also "heavy". I saw myself in the American underground trap scene trying to make it my own by adding some original stylistic notes. It wasn't easy, it took me a long period of experimentation!
