Annis Zeni started doing music at the age of 12. She began her career in the family "L'Après - ski" (the Zirmo 's Arena), receiving positive feedback from the public. Her passion took her to travel all over Europe, receiving the opportunity to play in several important clubs in Italy, Germany and Netherlands.

Playing music is a bit like telling a story, especially that of ourselves, we musicians. In today's world music it's very complex to label an artist with a certain genre, and it's increasingly essential to be open to new influences and experiments. How does this affect your set and your productions?

Since I started playing, I have never focused on a single genre. I have always tried to experiment with new ideas, always following my love for music. Having been in close contact with music since I was a child, I soon started to get excited about it and travelled in search of new inspirations. This allowed me to enrich my musical culture and relate with different genres. In my sets I like being myself.

For years, one wonders what the key is for an artist to pervade the soul of the listener with his own music. Is there a secret?

I believe that there is no secret, that everything is based only on spontaneity. The most important thing for me is to be true and play everything that I like, transmitting emotions to those who are listening to me, reaching the soul of the listener.

How does your musical idea come true? Is it a purely intuitive development or a largely structured one?

Memories are my first source of inspiration. Every track is connected to moments, to places that are important for me, to people I have met over the years. There are many times when I play that my mind goes in a different world. Thus I can grow as an artist, experiment with new unconventional ideas.
